Biography
Ella Collins is a painter and visual artist living and working in Atlanta, Georgia. She is currently completing her B.F.A. in Painting at the Savannah College of Art and Design (Atlanta, GA). Her work explores the intersection of memory, psychology, and human connection, often drawing from personal archives and layered referencing to create emotionally resonant compositions. Working primarily in painting, Ella incorporates mixed media throughout her process, using photography and collage to deepen the conceptual and material texture of her work.
Collins’ work has been recognized through SCAD’s Beyond the Dot Art Exhibition, where she received both First and Second Place awards early in her academic career. Alongside her studio practice, she has experience as a muralist and arts educator, having taught in therapeutic school settings and art camps for young creatives.
